All icons disappeared from desktop
Right click on the desktop and go to the View option on the menu
On the submenu click on "Show Desktop Icons"
JAWS USERS:
Go to the desktop with Windows key + D
Press the App key to get the context menu
Arrow down until you reach "Show Desktop Icons", press enter
