Password protection and backup
We do NOT store your passwords for any application for any reason.
If you find you are needing assistance with keep up or remembering any of your passwords, please explore some of the options listed below:
- Write it down: either on paper or in a Word document. It is understandable that not everyone lives in a secure location to leave passwords laying around or in a document on their desktop, however, for those who are able to, we have seen this be a very successful method.
- Dashlane is a great alternative. Dashlane fills all your passwords, payments, and personal details wherever you need them, across the web, on any device. So you can get right to what you want to do. No roadblocks. No stopping. The option to download for free can be found on this page on their site.
- Another password manager we recommend is KeePass. One of the most popular password managers out there, KeePass is great because it’s open-source, free and cross-platform — available for Windows, Linux, OS X, and even mobile devices. It keeps all your passwords, online and off, in a secure database, so you only have to remember one master password. Be sure that master password is safe! The option to download for free can be found on this page on their site.
